Dan Wagener has been in the commercial real estate industry since 1986. During his career, he has worked at a national commercial real estate firm, where he specialized in downtown office properties. He also worked as a consultant for an international real estate consulting firm and for regional industrial real estate firms. |
In all, Mr. Wagener has negotiated in the excess of 2000 commercial real estate transactions valued at over $400 million. Additionally, he has designed, built and syndicated several investment projects.
In 1991, he headed the asset management and marketing division for an industrial real estate portfolio of 37 separate properties consisting of 2.5 million square feet of space.
In January of 1994, Mr. Wagener co-founded Wagener Equities, Inc. As President of the firm he has focused his energy on innovative marketing methods, asset management and investment property syndication.
In 2003, Mr. Wagener earned his M.B.A., graduating with high honors from the executive program at Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
Mr. Wagener is a licensed real estate Managing Broker in the state of Illinois. He is a member of the Association of Industrial Real Estate Brokers (AIRE) as well as the National Association of Realtors (NAR). He earned his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation in 1997, and the prestigious Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation the following year. Mr. Wagener is one of fewer than 150 commercial real estate practitioners to hold both of these designations.
Mr. Wagener has been retained as a real estate expert on behalf of several property owners in property valuation disputes. His expertise has been utilized to establish values for property portfolios, estate planning purposes, and to establish market valuations in imminent domain cases.
From 2005 -2012, Mr. Wagener was a member of the Operations Committee for the School Board of District 67 in Lake Forest, IL. He resides in Lake Forest with his wife Katy and two children Molly and Michael. |
